Professor Louis Ho
Louis Ho is the head instructor at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Montreal. He is a three time Canadian Jiu Jitsu Champion. He is a U.S. National Jiu Jitsu Champion. He is an FFC Submission of the Night Superfight Champion. Louis holds the distinction of being the first and only 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Black Belt in Canada. He also holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under World Champion, Pablo Popovitch. Suffering from a chronic lower back condition since adolescence, Louis has developed a cerebral style that emphasizes technique over strength and athleticism.
Louis holds a Masters of Science (in Administration) degree from Concordia University in Montreal and is an avid blues guitarist.
Corey Guitard is an avid Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and competitor. He is currently a brown belt under Louis Ho. Corey is passionate about teaching and spends nearly all of his time on the mats. He competes often and nearly always reaches the podium. Corey specializes in half-guard, pressure passing, and taking the back. Corey also holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and is a certified personal trainer.
Coach Mike Wadsworth
Mike Wadsworth is one of 10th Planet Montreal’s most notorious mat-monsters. A purple belt, former high-school wrestler and rugby player, Mike practices a brand of Jiu-Jitsu not for the faint of heart. He likes to play half guard, has an impressive transitional top game, and hits arm-in chokes from everywhere on the mat.
Kevin is currently a blue belt under Louis Ho. He is a devoted practitioner with a cerebral and technical approach to jiu-jitsu. He is a guard player with strong survival skills and an impressive grasp of basic concepts. Kevin teaches the fundamentals class on Friday mornings.
Nic Delisle (blue belt) runs our children's program. Nic loves to teach and has natural ability to communicate with the kids. His students love his classes and most attend multiple times per week. Since we put Nic in charge of the program, the students progress has been impressive to say the least! Nic is a guard player, a fan of small-man Jiu-Jitsu,and has a deep affinity for leg locks!
Ryan Parsons is one of Canada's elite Muay Thai (MT) talents. A certified instructor under Kru Nokweed Sriampai of Muay Thai School USA, Ryan lives and breathes the ancient art. He is the Victory Muay Thai Champion as well as the 2016 Thai Boxing Association Muay Thai Classic World Champion at 175 lbs (Class A). In addition to his MT pedigree, he is also a black belt in Kung Fu, and a blue belt in 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. Despite his recent success, Ryan is a passionate student who continues to learn from iconic teachers such as Dave Hiltion and Sandro Ferr.
Elliot is an experienced fighter and coach of 10 years+ and holds the rank of Black Belt at APEX Martial Arts. He has quickly become a veteran in amateur Muay Thai fighter, having competed in multiple organizations across Canada. Elliot is known for his methodical approach and emphasis on cardio, endurance and conditioning. Elliot is an active and dedicated coach and fighter, always looking to improve his skill set in order to bring his students and teammates to the next level.
Rajveer Talhan is our in-house wrestling coach and a certified strength and conditoning coach. Raj has been wrestling for nearly two decades and he has the pedigree to show for it: Raj has wrestled at the national and international level and coached numerous professional fighters from promitions such as One FC, XFFC, K-1, and the UFC. Raj is a model coach and an outstanding individual and we're proud to have him as a member of our team!
